What we take care of when replacing lighting
We handle the replacement as a single contract – from removing the old luminaires through the electrical installation and controls to initial verification. You do not have to coordinate the luminaire supplier, the electricians and the inspection engineer separately.
Removal and disposal
We remove the old luminaires and take them for recycling free of charge via EKOLAMP Slovakia, the collective scheme we are a member of. On request we issue a declaration of environmentally sound disposal – useful for EU-funded projects.
Luminaire installation
Recessed, surface-mounted or suspended – in offices as well as at height in production halls. We position the luminaires according to the lighting design.
Electrical installation and switchboards
Adjustments to cable routes, outgoing circuits and circuit protection to match the new load. When replacing the lighting at the Malieb plant, we also replaced the switchboards.
Controls and emergency lighting
We connect DALI, sensors and emergency modules and program the controls – daylight dimming and lighting scenes.
Outdoor areas and poles
Public and site lighting, sports facilities and billboards – including poles, their foundations and earthing.
Verification and handover
After installation we arrange the initial verification – inspection and testing – and hand over the verification report.

We schedule the replacement around your operations – we install during the summer shutdown, in breaks between shifts, at weekends or at night, always by agreement. Offices are done room by room, with no need to move out.

Case study
Production and warehouses in Dolné Vestenice
The production and storage halls were lit by industrial discharge luminaires at the end of their life – frequent failures and high maintenance costs. We carried out a complete replacement: removal of the old luminaires, installation of 742 LED luminaires and programming of the controls. DALI dims the luminaires according to daylight and parts of the halls are switched by motion sensors.

What happens to the old luminaires?
We remove them and take them for recycling free of charge via EKOLAMP Slovakia, the collective scheme we are a member of. On request we issue a declaration of environmentally sound disposal.
Do you also carry out initial verification?
Yes, as part of the installation. After the replacement we arrange the initial verification – inspection and testing – and hand over the verification report. We do not usually carry out stand-alone inspections without an installation.
Do you also install outdoor lighting and poles?
Yes – public and site lighting, sports facilities and billboards, including poles, their foundations and earthing.
Can you install in explosive atmospheres?

How long does the replacement take?
It depends on the scope and on access to the luminaires. You get the schedule together with the quote.
Is it worth replacing fluorescent luminaires now?
If you have many of them and they are on for long hours, yes – LED uses less energy and there are no tubes to replace. In addition, T5 and T8 fluorescent tubes are being phased out of the EU market – more in the article The end of T5 and T8 fluorescent tubes (in Slovak).
What warranty do you provide?
3 to 10 years on luminaires, depending on the type.
