By modernising its outdated lighting, the company gained not only higher and more uniform illuminance but also savings on energy costs.
In cooperation with EXTEC s.r.o. we carried out a lighting replacement at the IKEA Industry Slovakia s. r. o. production plant in Malacky. Our task was to design a suitable replacement for the T8 fluorescent luminaires.
A simulation in DIALux allowed us to arrive at the optimal layout, number and wattage of luminaires to achieve the required illuminance level and uniformity. In designing the solution, we also aimed for additional energy cost savings through the DALI control built into the luminaires.
