The VULCAN LED luminaire is an explosion-proof (Ex) luminaire designed for areas with a risk of explosion of flammable gases and dust – zones 1, 21 and 2, 22. Suitable for the chemical and petrochemical industry, refineries, paint shops, mills, wastewater treatment plants and flammable-material warehouses.
The luminaire has a robust steel and stainless-steel construction with a diffuser made of satined tempered safety glass, IP66 protection and IK10 mechanical resistance. It operates in the temperature range −40 to +55 °C and, thanks to an efficacy of up to 147 lm/W, significantly reduces operating costs.
It is available in three sizes and a wide power range (2,350 – 16,800 lm), with a standard colour temperature of 4,000 K and a colour rendering index of Ra > 80. It allows through-wiring (up to 7 conductors inside the luminaire) and a screwless WAGO connection.
